Crowdfunding for disease-based research

Community Health Research Fund

Community health research is a dynamic field that dives deep into the health habits, needs, and challenges of local populations. It’s all about understanding what makes our communities tick health-wise and finding ways to boost everyone’s well-being. Unfortunately, current funding often falls short due to budget crunches and competing interests, leaving many promising projects underfunded.

Supporting community health research is incredibly important because it sheds light on critical health issues, helps tackle health disparities, and drives the creation of effective, localized health initiatives. By championing these studies, we can empower communities with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive and build a healthier future for everyone.

Learn About Our Research Funds

On our platform we review and feature high-quality and underfunded research projects which are grouped to crowdfund under their overarching underfunded category of research; in this case: “Community Health Research Fund”.

The goal of each Fund is to offer additional capital to those campaigners who stand out by meeting/exceeding their crowdfunding goal along with other project attributes, such as: novelty and/or use of cutting-edge technology and significance in advancing knowledge within the field.

This means anyone can take part in advancing scientific knowledge within a field by directly contributing to impactful research projects and make a difference in the world of science.
